Browsing using HTML

If the extractor program scb has been installed as a CGI program as described in section 2.2 then the Starlink source code can be browsed as a set of hypertext pages hyperlinked together at function/subroutine calls and file includes. Using the pages generated should be quite intuitive, so the following discussion does not give exact instructions but clears up a few points. The best way to see how it works is to play with it.

The URL of the source code browser will depend on exactly how the installation has been performed, but it will look something like http://host.domain/cgi-bin/star/scb.pl (although see the note in section 3.2 if you have built your own index).
