Using the commands

If you are going to use any of the commands in the package from the Unix C shell you should issue the command

% source $INSTALL/scb/scb.csh
or just
% scb
This sets up aliases for the package commands (scbindex, scb, dbmcat and scbcp) and also sets up, and informs you of, some of the important environment variable settings, as follows:
Source Code Browser (SCB) version 1.1-0. See SUN/225 for help.

   Environment variable settings:
      SCB_INDEX /star/etc/scb
      SCB_SOURCES /stardev/sources
      SCB_BROWSER_TMP /usr/tmp/scb
      SCB_INDEXER_TMP /usr/tmp/scbindexer
These can be changed if you want, for instance, to build an index in a different place to the default. The exact meaning of these environment variables is explained in section 2.
