The following list describes an analysis of lag data that provides a quick diagnostic of how the correlator is performing, and explains the basis for the analysis.
Ground pickup should be visible in the correlated data on a particular baseline, and could seriously distort AMiBA's results. This memo from Katy Lancaster describes how a power spectrum analysis of visibility or correlator lag data can be used to find and remove slow fringes from interferometer data. Such an analysis will be important in AMiBA tests.
