Annotating your plots

FROG shares a common infrastructure for graphics annotation with SPLAT

graphics_menu1.gif

Here we see the Graphics menu of a time series plot window (the periodogram window has the same functionality). By selecting the appropriate cursor type, editable lines, shapes and text can be added to your plot.

graphics_menu2.gif

The characteristics of the currently selected component can be edited, see above, and the end points of the shape repositioned.

graphics_save.gif

By selecting Graphics=>Save/restore figures the current annotations can be stored and then in a configuration file in the user's home directory, and redrawn onto another plot at a later date.
