Faking it from scratch

The Fake Data popup, obtained from the main browser's Operations=>Create fake periodic data item, allows you to generate sinusoidal data.

Noise can be added to both the x and y-data values. The fake data can then be manipulated like any other time series using the Constant Airithmetic and sin() Arithmetic popups to make more complex fake data sets.
