Faking it from existing data

The sin() Arithmetic popup can be used to generate fake data based on real datasets. The Add to Windowed Function option sets all the y-axis data points to unity.

The $\sin()$ function is then added, subtracted, multiplied or divided (as specified) into this window function. Effectively this generates fake data with the same sampling as your original dataset,

Here (above) we have generated a fake dataset with the same sampling as our original data.
