Generating the index (scbindex)

In order for the browser to work, indexes of the source files must be generated. This is done by the script scbindex, installed by default in /star/bin. The following subsections explain how to use this program to build an index. In most cases, only an index of the whole Starlink collection will be required, but people modifying or developing their own copies of packages may wish to generate a personalised index.
